Flex-Rigid

Flexi Rigid technology can remove the need for cable assemblies with the following benefits:

• Reducing cost as there is only one assembly process and one tooling cost
• Improved reliability as there are no solder joints
• The flex is an integral part of the board - not added on
• The assembled PCB can be tested as a unit

It can also be very useful where a lot of circuitry is required to fit into small confined spaces by allowing the board to fold up into small intricate shapes.
